THE SCOOP!
I love going out for lunch meeting and trying all the different restaurants downtown. I had a lunch meeting with David, Sales and Operations Manager from the Prince of Whales. We decided to go to Nautical Nellies Steak and Seafood House located at 1001 Wharf Street in Victoria. The restaurant offers daily specials and on Monday the special was Chicken and Mushroom Crepe in a rich dion cream, topped with melted mozzarella cheese served with a mixed green salad, which I had to have.
David ordered a deluxe hambugar, certified angus beef burgar with apple wood smoked bacon, garlic mushrooms and aged chedder cheese with yam fries. Take a look at the pictures... hmm delicious......presentation outstanding. This is an amazing place. All the food is yummy and service is fast and friendly.
Now for the Whale Watching Tour...
Wow, what a day, 3 hours of whale watching with the Prince of Whales, abroad the World Famous Ocean Magic II. Departure is just off the Inner Harbour below the Tourism Centre and with parking close by. Not even 15 minutes into the excursion and we saw Transient killer whales just off Constance bank. When we reached Race Rocks Lighthouse we saw California Sea Loins and bald eagles. What an incredible adventure to experience on the inland straits of the Pacific Ocean.Seeing wild life right before your eyes… breathtaking… memorable… fantastic!
